The Irish Congress of Southern California is honored to welcome you to the 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 13, 2027, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 6th and Laurel in Balboa Park, rain or shine.
Our 2027 theme, “Sail the Green Wave,” celebrates both the history and spirit that unite us. It honors the vast waves of Irish immigrants who laid America’s foundations while highlighting the shared maritime bond between coastal San Diego and Ireland.
Join us as we carry on a four-decade tradition of turning San Diego green for our biggest and brightest celebration yet.

Who We Are
The Parade organization, the Irish Congress of Southern California, is a 100% volunteer organization. We fund the Parade and Irish Festival solely with event revenue and the donations and grants of many individuals and businesses. Festival Schedule & Info
Spend your day exploring the festival grounds. Immerse yourself in our vibrant craft and vending booths, grab a bite at the food stalls, and catch live Irish music and dance across two stages.
Admission: Just $10 for adults (21+).
Military Discount: Free entry for active-duty military with valid ID.
Note: All scheduled events are listed in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Parade Steps off at Fifth Avenue and Laurel St. and proceeds North up Fifth Avenue to Upas Street.

*McGregor’s is an over 21 Bar and Grill. Please plan accordingly. McGregor’s is located at 10475 San Diego Mission Rd, San Diego, CA
*An additional parking lot for McGregor’s is located at an Overflow Lot: Located in the back of the building directly adjacent to the main strip mall. You can access this lot by driving slightly past the main plaza entrance on San Diego Mission Road. In addition, Street Parking, free and paid street parking spots, are routinely available along San Diego Mission Road.
