Welcome to the website of the Irish Congress of Southern California (ICSC). We are dedicated to presenting and preserving Irish culture and customs. Among the events we sponsor (or support) each year are the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival, the Smiling Irishman Contest, and the Miss Colleen Pageant. March 13, 2010 will mark the 30th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival, thanks to the dedication and commitment of the many volunteers that comprise the ICSC, the support of the Irish community, and that of our sponsors.
The Irish Congress needs your help to produce the Parade and Festival. Sponsors and donations are greatly needed to ensure our continued success and celebration. Please visit our Sponsors page for opportunities or make a Donations to help us along. We greatly appreciate your generous support.

The ICSC is a non-profit organization, serving the San Diego region since 1981. Our mission is to promote public appreciation and knowledge of Irish history and culture. To accomplish this, we are proud to host the annual Miss Colleen Pageant and Dinner in addition to our main event, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. These significant events serve as a vehicle to entertain, inspire, educate, and create awareness of important community programs and services available in the greater San Diego area.
In 2009, we had more than 160 parade entries and over 100,000 fun folks attend our parade, making it one of the largest single-day events in San Diego.
