Our Volunteers:

Volunteering is thought to be a gift to others, but it is really more of a gift to yourself.  It is such a beautiful creation process.Creating good will, education, cultural awareness, preventing hunger and homelessness, etc. Every year, we at the Irish Congress celebrate and honor a theme, this year's being children's adoption, fostering, and mentoring services.

I'm so privileged to work with many kids and young adults who carry all the banners on our parade route.  Their sense of civic pride and work ethic inspires me every year! This parade and festival is a grassroots effort made up of 40+ committee chairs, board members, our esteemed Chairman, President, and hundreds of volunteers. Many thanks to you all. I am humbled by your generosity and spirit. We also couldn't do it without our sponsors mentioned in our beautiful program book that comes out every year. We can all enrich a child's life on a daily basis with so little effort - and we will all be the better for it!
