2014 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Our 2014 St. Patrick’s Day Parade will feature over 120 entries, includes Marching Bands, Floats, Police and Fire Department units, the Emerald Societies, Border Patrol units, Scout Troops, Clowns, Equestrian entries, Bagpipe contingents, Dancing groups, Drill Teams, Roller Skaters, Shriners, Antique Cars, the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, representatives from Ireland, and the reigning Miss Colleen and Smiling Irishman and more.

St. Patrick’s Day Schedule:
07:00 a.m.    Pre-Parade Mass.  Imperial House, 505 Kalmia Street.
09:00 a.m.    Festival Area Opens (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
10:00 a.m.    Flag Raising Ceremony, Balboa Park, Sixth   
                     Avenue / Juniper Street area.
10:30 a.m.    Parade Steps off at Sixth Avenue and Juniper Street and
                     proceeds North up Fifth Avenue from Juniper Street to
                     Upas Street, over to Sixth Avenue and South on Sixth to
                     Juniper Street.
