Sponsorships & Donations
Each year, over 30,000 people attend our St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival in Balboa Park. It’s a great day for family and friends.
The Parade features over 150 entries, including floats, marching bands, clowns, drill teams, police and fire units, and dance units. The Festival, at Sixth Avenue and Maple Streets, features entertainment on two stages with Irish folk singers, Irish dancers, craft booths, food booths, a Celtic Village, two beer gardens and a Kids Zone.
We are an all volunteer organization. With City fees and operational costs increasing annually, the success and future of our Parade and Festival requires more than the help and dedication of volunteers within our community. We need financial support to keep the Parade as an annual family event.
Sponsorships and Donations are tax deductible as provided by law as we are an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization. To sponsor specific events or activities, here is a list of sponsorship opportunities:
Sponsorship Opportunities
Festival Entertainment Sponsor – $2,500
As a Festival Entertainment Sponsor, you will help us provide the stages, sound systems, and the Irish music and dance that are such an integral part of the Festival. Nothing supports Irish culture and heritage more than music and dance.
Miss Colleen Pageant Sponsor – $2,000
As a Miss Colleen Pageant and Dinner Sponsor, you support the Pageant and help send our Miss Colleen to Warrenpoint, Ireland, where she qualifies as a participant in the Maiden of the Mournes Pageant in August.
Festival Sponsor – $2,000
As a Festival Sponsor, you help defray the expenses incurred to make the Festival possible, such as park permits, city services, police support, insurance and festival security.
Program Book Sponsor – $1,500
As a Parade Program Book sponsor, you help defray the publication and printing costs of the Souvenir Parade Program Book.
Parade Day Dignitary Breakfast Sponsor – $1,000
As Parade Day Dignitary Breakfast Sponsor, you support and underwrite the VIP Breakfast honoring the Parade dignitaries, held prior to our St. Patrick’s Day Parade at the Imperial House Restaurant.
Parade Volunteer T-Shirt Sponsor – $750
As a Parade Volunteer T-shirt Sponsor, you help provide our volunteers with Official Parade Volunteer T-shirts so that they may be identified in their official capacity to the public.
Announcer Towers – $750
As Announcer Tower Sponsor, you help provide the towers where our announcers inform Parade watchers about the 150+ Parade entries.
All Donors and Sponsors are recognized in our Souvenir Parade Program Book and other printed Parade materials and will have seating in the VIP section of the Grandstand. Signage at the Festival is also available.
