Each year, over 30,000 people attend our St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival in Balboa Park. It’s a great day for family and friends.
The Parade features over 120 entries, including floats, marching bands, clowns, drill teams, police and fire units, and dance units. The Festival, at Sixth Avenue and Maple Streets, features entertainment on two stages with Irish folk singers, Irish dancers, craft booths, food booths, a Celtic Village, two beer gardens and a Kids Zone.
We are an all volunteer organization. With City fees and operational costs increasing annually, the success and future of our Parade and Festival requires more than the help and dedication of volunteers within our community. We need financial support to keep the Parade as an annual family event.
Donations are tax deductible as provided by law as we are an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The Irish Congress operates solely on the generous donations made by individuals and businesses in support of the Parade and Festival for the benefit of the San Diego community. All donations go to a good cause and are greatly appreciated.
Please help us with a donation.
