The St. Patrick's Day Parade is organized entirely by volunteers who are members of the Irish Congress of Southern California, a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. For 40 years, with the help of generous donations and parade entry fees, the parade goes on!

The Irish Congress of Sothern California is a 501(c)3 non profit organized for the purpose of promoting Irish History and Culture. We accomplish that task through our presentation of the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. We also host an annual Miss Colleen contest and participate in many local events organized by other Irish Heritage organizations.
We are fortunate to reside in the unique community of San Diego with its own cultural and history to celebrate. We offer our event for the entire community to attend, participate and enjoy a day once a year when everyone in San Diego is a little bit Irish.
The Irish Congress is actively planning for our return to Balboa Park and the streets of San Diego to finally present our 40th Annual Parade & Festival on March 12,2022. Despite the cancellations of the parade the process of keeping our organization operating goes on.
Our organization is currently seeking volunteers, sponsors and others willing to help keep this San Diego tradition as part of our community.
