St. Patrick’s Day Parade Media:

The 2022 40th Annual San Diego St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival was a wonderful success. A hearty thank you to all of our volunteers, our parade entries, our festival vendors, and our event attendees and patrons who made this success possible!
Please see the winners of our 2022 parade awards and our 2022 photos.
Please mark our calendars for next year’s event on Saturday, March 11, 2023 (rain or shine). The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. on Fifth Avenue at Laurel Street to celebrate Irish heritage and culture in the San Diego region.
See dignitaries and honorees, floats, high school marching bands, police and fire department units, Irish community groups, dancing groups, equestrian units, clowns, antique cars, Irish setters, and more. Then enjoy a fun day at the festival for the whole family (see below).
You can see photos from past parades shown on the side tabs. The Irish Congress of Southern California is already planning for next year’s event. If you would like to volunteer your skills and talents, please see our volunteer tab and join us.
The 2023 parade theme has not been announced yet. Check back here and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages at @stpatsparadesd for parade announcements as well as general events in the community.
