St. Patrick’s Day Parade Media:

The 41st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival was a great success and we had a fantastic day. Even with mist and rain at the start of the parade, we had a great time and when it let up about half-way through, we were ready to enjoy good food, vendors, drinks, and Irish music and dance at the festival with our San Diego community.
See our 2023 parade entry winners list under the Parade Entry tab here.
Set your calendars next year to join us on March 16, 2024 (rain or shine) for our 42nd parade and festival. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on Fifth Avenue at Laurel Street and the festival will run from 9 am – 6 pm. See dignitaries and honorees, floats, high school marching bands, police and fire department units, Irish community groups, dancing groups, equestrian units, clowns, antique cars, and more. Then enjoy a fun day at the festival for the whole family.
Photos from the event will be posted soon and you can see photos from past parades shown on the side tabs. The Irish Congress of Southern California is already in the planning for next year’s event. If you would like to volunteer your skills and talents, please see our volunteer tab and join us.
And follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for parade announcements as well as general events in the community.
A hearty thank you to all of our volunteers, our sponsors, our parade entries, our festival vendors, and our event attendees and patrons who make this possible!
